Pros and cons of MyStuff2 app for iPhone and iPad

MyStuff2 app good for

It can take photo of stuffs even for custom category. After a few weeks I can confirm it has become my most frequently used app everyday!
This App is amazing. Its fully customizable in every way you want to use it. Not only the attribute types are changeable, even the kind of keyboard to show up can be specified. It is really amazing! I use it for my collection of computers, my friend is using it for his wine cellar, and it can easily be used as a CD or DVD Database. The developer is very open for feedback and improvement ideas. I highly recommend this app!
Great way to organize my messy storage room. House as well! Once set up, easy to add and locate items. Thanks!
This app is amazing and so easy to use. I love how you can keep track of what youve lent out. Great for movies, books and music. Next Im going to include all insurable valuables for insurance purposes. The only problem Ive had is after a while the camera freezes but that just may be an issue with my phone. (3GS) I just power down and restart and its fine.
Keeps track of everything. Custom categories and attributes are easy to set up. Backs up online, including Dropbox, and allows export to cvs or HTML.
Great customer service too! This app has pretty much everything you could ever need I keep track of your stuff. The UPC scanner is awesome! I had a few difficulties with the initial set-up but with the quick response times to my emails, the customer service I received solved the problems and got me using it right away! The syncing with Dropbox works flawlessly and the low price is ridiculous! Thanks for as awesome app!

Some bad moments

I tried the lite-Version, that is crashing every time. This Bug-Makers and Crap-Sellers wrote that it is only in the lite-Version, so I bought the full-Version. Full-Version means full of Bugs and your money gone away. Both versions keep crashing, so never trust the lies of this company. I was not able to enter a single book. 3,99 EUR for nothing but crashing .... STAY AWAY FROM THAT COMPANY!!!
I have been trying to understand how this apps work for over 1 hour. I just cant understand how to add items to the different categories, and there is no instruction in the app or online (The website is useless, no tutorial). So to resume. EXTREMELY Complex, Not user friendly at all. No good instruction available ONLINE or in the APPS.
Sadly this app is becoming a huge pain. It crashes continually after just a couple items added. How can you charge $4.99 for an app that crashes so often? Work out the issue and then itll be worth the five stars and $4.99.
When I try to import a backup from my iPad with drop box, it crashes after the file finishes downloading. When i start it backup the data has not been installed, And when it asks if I want to sent in a crash report, it crashes again. So maybe needs some work. Also the iPad version is missing any ability to use iCloud, while it is still available on the iPhone.
This application is needlessly complex, maddeningly clumsy and frankly, quite useless. I spent a day of my life trying to figure this thing out - and the Support was just as baffling. The logic is wonky and simply doesnt work (you cant sort a List simply by applied date?? Are you kidding me?). I wish I would have that 16 hours of my life back - that, and the money I spent to purchase this complete piece of digital garbage. Caveat Emptor: I am well versed in software design (I write App content for a living) and if someone like me cant use this so-called helpful application, I suggest the vast majority who need to use an inventory application will find the experience equally as frustrating. Please dont waste your time or money!! ZERO STARS.
This was a 5+ star app -- I used it for more than a year & loved it. It was well-designed, customizable, and the barcode scanning capability rocked. I paid for the pro version, and it was worth every penny. BUT... the the app recently dropped support for every single cloud sync option except iCloud. And as if that wasnt bad enough, because the app only syncs with iCloud now, the app no longer even supports the use of multiple databases. I remain *completely baffled* by this reduction in service. I had been using Dropbox to save & sync my inventory. Now, Dropbox is no longer supported, and I cant access any of he thousands of items I inventoried across multiple databases. Overnight, his went from 5+ stars to zero-stars. It is completely, utterly useless now. Why on earth would a developer so severely downgrade such a great app?

Usually MyStuff2 iOS app used & searched for
