Update Bomb!

When updated all my entries were lost! Too time consuming to begin again only to lose with another update.:-(

Big learning curve

Owned this one for a few months, and cant figure it out. Looks impressive, but Ive used databases that were a while lot more intuitive than this one. The help section isnt very good, and the "sample" items didnt look like anything a person could copy. Im sure this is similar to some database systems you might be used to, but a waste of time and money if you dont recognize the system, its almost incomprehensible to a layman.

Thumbs up

I use this for my vinyl record collection. Very easy to use and bar code scanner works great with most of the albums. Customizing fields arent always intuitive, but not difficult if you play around with it a bit. I like the ability to add photos, links, notes, etc to the entries. Took a couple hours to get my collection imported and customized the way I want, takes under a minute now to add new records. Very happy with this app, does exactly what I wanted it to.

Great app

Works great to keep track of my stuff with photos in different categories. Very intuitive and app developer is very responsive. Buy it! Its worth it.

V3.0.7 broken

Cant add attributes to a category. Field name is scrolled off page. If I scroll down and tap inside field nothing happens, no pop up keyboard, cant enter name... Nothing... Dud

Great App

Does every thing I need it to and more. The best support when you need it.

Great app!!

This is one of the best apps I have. I use it all the time. I have all of my collections from coins to magic props stored.

Very useful

Thanks for the good app!

Love it!

I have tried other apps for this purpose and have been very disappointed, mostly by the scanning feature NOT working at all. So far, this one has worked just as expected. I highly recommend it for your personal inventory needs. The scanning is a wonderful tool that makes it a lot faster inputting information.

A little too complicated

I wish this app would sync between my iPad and iPhone without all the gymnastics of exporting CSV files to Google Drive. CSV file is unreadable in any iPad app. This app needs some more work. It needs more seamless integration with online drive services like Google Drive

Everything you could possibly need

Beautiful! Well designed user interface with incredible flexibility. I can not believe how awesome this program is. Definitely try it.

No sync kills it

Nice features, but without sync seriously handicapped. My movie database is on my iPad, my light bulb inventory (just two databases I use) is on my iPhone, since that is the device I take shopping. Without syncing, I have two incompatible databases that constantly overwrite each other during "backup." The developer is apparently beta-testing syncing, so Im really hopeful. Feature-wise, this app is incredible. It will be a 5-star app soon! To the reviewer down below who gave 1 star for the missing keyboard: Yeah, its a bug. Turn your iPad to portrait and the keyboard will pop up. Not good, but workable.

Does everything I wanted and more!

I am a collector of sorts. I have so many movies and book that I had a hard time keeping track of everything I had, and which versions I had them in. I spent a long time looking for the right app that would do everything that I needed and I found it. This app allows me to catalog my movies, books, video games, electronic devices, and more in one place. It links straight to amazon which allows me to simply scan the barcode and what that item is pops right up also providing details about that item to be logged as well. I LOVE this app. It has saved me so much time and effort with making lists or have to return an item I have double bought. Thanks for being awesome!

Great for complex collections

Having taken a break from a hobby that required tracking of hundreds of thread colors & weights & fibers--all stored in different locations (ugh)--and earmarked for differing projects, I hadnt opened this app in nearly a year. Recently I needed to inventory something else, and...wow...Id forgotten how useful and customizable this app is. Its what youre looking for--not just people with a lot of books and movies--but complex collectors, like sewers, painters, weavers, make-up collectors (apparently this is actually a thing)...all sorts of people I suspect are overlooking the app, going by the dearth of reviews. Worth every penny.

Truly Outstanding!

I have to say that I was somewhat leery about purchasing this app. Ive tried other brands of this app before and they werent even close to what I wanted or what MyStuff2 has to offer. As a renter I needed someway to track and archive all of my stuff. Not only does MyStuff do that it helps you get current market values, exports the data to easy to understand Excel spreadsheets, it even helped me to log some stuff that I otherwise would have overlooked. MyStuff is also very very easy to use to create your own custom categories. This app is a very powerful app for keeping track of all of your treasures. Among all the other great things that have already been said about MyStuff2 I have to point out the customer service. It is quite simply put, OUTSTANDING!!! In a society that has somewhat forgotten what customer service is much less how to achieve it I have to say that when I have had to contact Rick for some help he has me back on track within a very few minutes. What more needs to be said? Great app, great customer service and you can inventory and catalog your stuff. Its a win, win, win.

Update ate my database

Dont install the new update 4.0.1 as it succeeded to only destroy my 700+ movie database. I have never had a problem with this app and I have used it for several years. The linkup with Dropbox failed and when I deleted the file on Dropbox it erased my database on my phone. Thanks a lot for releasing a failed update.

broken!

This used to be pretty functional, although a little clunky. However, the last update seems to have killed this. I tried to add an item today and discovered that the little + sign that used to be on the bottom right corner is no longer there! Please fix this or at least post a workaround.

Cant get past the welcome screens on a new iPad

There is apparently no way to move beyond the couple of welcome screens and actually begin using the app when installed afresh on a new iPad. Cant recommend the application anymore … its now useless.

More than meets the eye

This is a fantastic app! Intuitive, with a strong set of robust features, it can do much more than just document someones inventory. For myself I am using it as my launcher app for many activities I do with my iPhone and iPad mini. The strong support of web addresses means that I can jump from this app to other apps at the touch of the screen. The categories and location hierarchies allow me to group apps and classes of documents however I wish. This is quickly becoming my primary go to app that I use many times a day.

Highly recommended
